The Czech EU presidency Youth Event 2009 will be focused on commenting the actual outputs of EU Youth Policy on European level and will bring position of Young people from all over Europe mainly to new European Commission Communication. European Union started to have regular own Youth policy at the beginning of the 21th century when the White paper New Impetus for European Youth was presented by European Commission.
Since 2001 were adopted common European Framework of cooperation, European Youth Pact and different initiatives and actions in the Youth Field as Structured dialog with Youth etc. The year 2009 comes as the evaluation period of cooperation on European level in the Field of Youth. After the Commission Communication come two Youth Events in the Czech Republic and Sweden and in autumn the results will be compiled to New Common European Framework of cooperation in the Youth Filed, which will be put in force since 2010.
On the Czech Youth Event will be worked in different topics of youth agenda as Participation and Information, Volunteering, Social inclusion and wellbeing of Youth, Competitiveness and fostering Talents and Evidence-based policy making.
